Before purchasing and installing an engine cylinder head, make sure it is the correct fit for your vehicle
- Keep coolant level full
- Do not run the engine if overheated
- Keep oil changed and oil level full
- Have vehicle serviced if check engine light comes on
- Regularly inspect engine cylinder head for signs of damage or wear, and replace them if signs of damage are found
Signs of wear for engine cylinder heads include but are not limited to:
- Engine misfire
- Odor and white smoke out of exhaust sign of coolant leaking into cylinders
- Stains on engine or puddles under engine from oil or coolant leaks
- Coolant or oil levels low
