Good Maintenance Practices:
- Before purchasing and installing a fuel injector rail, make sure it is the correct fit for your vehicle
- Run recommended octane fuel for your vehicle
- Have fuel pressure checked if engine performance decreases
- Make sure fuel rail is properly seated or leaks may occur
- Regularly inspect fuel injector rail for signs of damage or wear, and replace them if signs of damage are found
Signs of wear for fuel injector rails include but are not limited to:
- Poor engine performance
- Fuel odor in engine compartment
- Signs of leaks at fuel rail
