Good Maintenance Practices:

  • Today's adhesives provide a number of engineering advantages over traditional fasteners. Oftentimes they form a bond that is actually stronger than the parts being attached together. Adhesives are also one of the only ways to bond new materials like carbon composites that can't be welded. They effectively distribute loads better than spot welds or rivets, and allow panels to be attached across wide surface areas, as adhesives distribute outside forces more efficiently.

Troubleshooting Tips:

  • This product should never be used on bare metals.
  • If repositioning is necessary, slide the part to reposition. Pulling the part away and reapplying will result in poor adhesion.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Before applying the product, surfaces should be clean and dry. For best results, read product instructions for application information.
